Following the heroic efforts of our Muslim brothers’ (who are doing their duties in protecting the sacred land of Palestine) resistance against the Zionist scum, we are witnessing yet another cowardly and barbaric attack on innocent children, women and the general unarmed civilian population of Gaza.
The bombing of Al-Ahli Baptist hospital which was decisively proven to have been carried out by “Israel”, and more recently the heavy-duty bombs that were fired upon the Jabaliya refugee camp, once again killing innocent civilians, are examples of the acts of pure cowardice by the illegal bastard entity that calls itself ‘Israel’. What we are seeing is a genocide in Gaza.
We shouldn’t forget history, and we should never forget that this Zionist cancer has been afflicting the Ummah with these wretched cowardly attacks since 1967, the Naqba in 1948 , the Balfour declaration in 1917, all the way back to the founder father of Zionism, Theodore Herzl.
The question I want to address is what can we, i.e., those not directly involved in the conflict, whether in the UK, Europe or the USA, do to act during this heart-breaking and very difficult time?
Solution to the Occupation
A military problem requires a military solution. Frankly, anything other than this would be a waste of energy. And, I believe, the vast majority of Muslims already know this. We have seen the tremendous number of protests in the neighbouring Arab countries asking for the borders to be opened so we can fight alongside our brothers and repel the occupation and rightfully return theft of Muslim land, so no doubt we understand the solution.
It is easy to understand a military problem requires a military solution, yet why do we carry out the act of protest? Why do we carry out marches? Why do we reach out to our local governments & councils? Why do we make du’a without linking it to the action that would solve the problem? Why do we even collect charity, as if charity has ever won a war. It is important to note that none of those things, even with the best of intentions, will resolve this situation. We must refer back to the Shari’ah for finding the solutions to our problems.
Allah (SWT) says:
“Fight in the way of Allah those who fight you but do not transgress. Indeed. Allah does not like transgressors.”
“And kill them wherever you overtake them and expel them from wherever they have expelled you, and fitnah is worse than killing. And do not fight them at al-Masjid al- Haram until they fight you there. But if they fight you, then kill them. Such is the recompense of the disbelievers.”
“And if they cease, then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.”
“Fight them until there is no [more] fitnah and [until] worship is [acknowledged to be] for Allah. But if they cease, then there is to be no aggression except against the oppressors.”
“Fighting in the sacred month is for [aggression committed in] the sacred month, and for [all] violations is legal retribution. So whoever has assaulted you, then assault him in the same way that he has assaulted you. And fear Allah and know that Allah is with those who fear Him.”
(Surah Al-Baqarah; 2:190-194)
Reality of the Rulers
What we have seen across the globe, in terms of response from Muslims, is that the vast majority want this response, however the ones who control the militaries, the so called rulers of the Muslim countries, are nothing but mouth pieces and oppressors. Take for example Erdogan, he recently gave a speech at a massive rally in Turkey, where he stated:
“We will tell the whole world that Israel is a war criminal. We are making preparations for this. We will declare Israel a war criminal.”
However, declaring it a war criminal did not produce a military response. Instead, Erdogan has recently agreed for a gas pipeline to be built between “Israel” and Turkey.
King Abdullah of Jordan, is allowing the U.S. military equipment to be given to Israel through his borders!

Abdel Fateh Al-Sisi met with the U.S. to consider a resolution to ensure a Palestinian state can be established, referring to the two-state solution. We know this solution is to officially give up the land and is not the required Shari’ah outcome. That entire land is Muslim land and the only solution is the expulsion of the occupying entity.

Furthermore, he closed the Rafah crossing to prevent crucial medical equipment in, and prevented any Palestinians who were afflicted with critically injuries from treatment in Egypt due to a ‘lack of paperwork’. Some of them even died whilst waiting in the ambulances at the crossing!

Iran is nothing more than a motorised repetitive mouth piece like Erdogan, making empty threats linked with no action. As is the Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah who came out of hibernation to reiterate those same empty slogans as Iran.
We should know that these rulers should be held to account for the complicity in this time.
The Prophet (SAW) said:
“Whoever of you sees a Munkar should change it with his hand, and if he was unable then with his tongue, and if he was unable then he should hate it in his heart and that is the weakest of Iman.”
[Sahih Muslim]
Sincere Islamic Leadership Is Needed
What this clearly demonstrates is that the leaders of the Muslim countries are not leaders for the Muslims, in fact, they are just the agents of the U.S. who use them for their own purpose and interest. The issue is a lack of sincere leadership, that lives, acts and rules according to the divine Shari’ah. Not one that has been placed there by the kafir west to assist in their foreign policy objectives, which includes maintaining, and helping the illegal “Israeli” state!
A sincere Muslim leadership is needed to move the armies. The Prophet (SAW) did not establish the first Islamic state overnight, rather it was a concentrated, concerted effort that took 13 years. Furthermore, we are in a somewhat advantageous position with regards to this, because we have literally millions of Muslims yearning for justice, peace and security. So, what can you and me really do here miles and miles away from the eye of the storm?
- Hold the leaders to account
We need to ensure that all the Muslim leaders and those in authority in our localities are held to account with regards to the correct position on the Gaza situation - Make an effort to work towards the correct change
We need to ensure that we work to motivate ourselves and others to realise that the only solution to this, and all other atrocities Muslims around the world are facing is when we have a sincere correct Islamic leadership in place - Link this back to the U.S.
We need to remember that all war crimes are tied back to the U.S., as it is often in their own benefits and interests. Joe Biden said decades ago ‘had there not been an Israel, we would have to invent one, it is one of our best investments ever’. “Israel” is pretty much a forward operating base for the U.S. in the Middle East, hence why she is so dedicated to protecting it.
To conclude, as Muslims here in the West we need to do our utmost to ensure that we understand the reality of the so-called Muslim rulers around the world and hold them to account for their inaction. We need to work towards a real Islamic leadership and understands the steps necessary to achieve this goal. And we must never forget that the real war criminal that is linked to all these atrocities is the U.S., and none of these events occur without the permission or support of its owner, America.
